Mick Quarrell

Mick is quite simply a born entertainer, from theatre stage shows to music festivals adept at gently teasing and encouraging his audience from a group of shy strangers into having a rollicking good time. He plays guitar, lager-phone and stomp box, sings the songs and, most importantly, calls the dances with the finesse born from calling literally thousands of them.

Phil Smurthwaite

Phil is a skilled musician with a strong background in music study, education and performance. From years of playing smooth Gypsy Jazz songs & tunes to the magic of a Mexican Mariachi Band He plays the fiddle that brings the show to life, reflecting the Celtic roots of Australian bush music and giving the Billy Tea Bush band its own authentic sound.

I am still receiving positive feedback from the parents about the night. Thanks again for a great night – they want you back again! See you soon

The children had a wonderful time and Mick and Phil’s enthusiasm and entertainment were fantastic. I had both children and teachers telling me how much fun they had.
